Opportunities are diverse, allowing students to discover talents. We continuously assess attainment of pupils to ensure that they are achieving and act on the data collected. We also keep records of the on-going assessments of each student’s progress which is used in teacher’s planning.

A safe learning environment involves every aspect of creating a positive experience for students. NIS fully-trained teams and dedicated staff are ready to tackle any rapidly changing circumstances. NIS’s main elements in this include: Ensuring safe recruitment practices; Raising awareness of child protection issues and equipping children with the skills to help them keep safe; Developing and implementing procedures for reporting cases of abuse; Establishing a safe environment in which children can learn and develop.
BASIC PRINCIPLES
Some of our basic principles include: Sound monitoring of teaching and learning; Ensuring that they collaborate and share plans; Monitoring and reviewing pupil performance; Developing a short/long term School Improvement Plan; Ongoing feedback from parental and pupil surveys; Systematic teacher appraisal linked to continuing professional development among others.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT CYCLE
The performance management process is treated with strict confidentiality. Only the reviewer’s line manager/managers are provided with access to the reviewer’s plan recorded in the student statement. Performance of teachers is reviewed on an annual basis. Performance planning and reviews is done for teachers by 31st October and for head teachers by 31st December. Performance management cycle runs from 30th October to 31st July for teachers and from 30th December to 30th December for the principal.
